One has to live.

Becoming more disciplined now. After a few days of trying to find work, I found some (us artists have to eat) so this experiment I'm doing has become a meditation on tracing at the moment. I won't say what its about just yet. But (again) it involves a lot of tracing. And family photographs.

Treat everything as an experiment and see where this instinctive and intuitive bit of work goes. That's the intention.

Visuals to follow. Eventually.

Make Action.

So its 2014. (Happy New Year btw!)

Time to start the project thats been in the back of my head for the last 2 years and putting into motion some research into quite a long term portrait photography project thats been in my head for the last couple of months.

I think this is a year for me to understand my process more and of course, make action.

All part of the process...

Buenas Dias!

Decision making is all part of the creative process so after some thought, I've back-tracked, u-turned, whatever, so now this blog will be for my random musings about my overall work and process, and a more in-depth blog about the 'Gender, Process & Collaboration' project can be found here:

Hope you can follow

Gender, Process & Collaboration aka The Other Unfinished Conversation

Here at last.

So, I finally got around to creating a blog.

And finally got to Barcelona for Phase One of the Arts Council funded project 'Gender, Process & Collaboration'.

Arrived in Barca late last night, and have decided to blog on here about the whole project to keep things together in one place.

Lots to do today, including shopping for Flamenco shoes, as I start my Flamenco lessons tomorrow afternoon.

No matter how many projects like this I do, the learning curve is always an interesting on and in the run up to getting here again, I've learnt so much - not least a lot about organisation and preparation, but this is just a brief hello to say I'm here - both in Barca and online, that I'm happy to be here, and that this will be a place for me to be honest with myself about my practice and a insight into the emerging artist process.

Anyway, back story to follow later. Flamenco shoes first. Hasta Pronto.

Perfecto.
